For providers
FAUNA is also
a working tool.
Vets, grooming, training, pet-sitting, dog walking, transport, physiotherapy, nutrition, behaviour, farriers and boarding have their own mode in the app. You receive booking requests from people who already have the animal's profile set up, with the animal's history already inside.
Payments
10% per booking made
through the app. That's it.
There's no paid plan, no monthly fee, no joining fee. FAUNA charges 10% on the bookings that reach you through the app, and if no work reaches you, you pay nothing. Clients who were already yours and contact you directly don't count.
Who gets their own mode
From the clinic to the riding arena. The app wasn't designed only around the consulting room: grooming, training and the farrier get the same mode and the same tools.
Consultation
Clinic and hospital.
Bath and grooming
Salon and home visits.
Training
Obedience and agility.
Farrier
And the equestrian world.

How to get started
- 1Install the app and create the accountThe account is created in the mobile app. It always starts as an owner account, nobody comes in directly as a professional.
- 2Ask for access to Provider modeUnder Settings → Modes → Request access. You say what activity you practise and send the documents that activity requires. They stay in private storage, visible only to the team.
- 3The team verifiesVets and boarding always go through human review, because they're regulated activities: the licence from the Ordem dos Médicos Veterinários and the boarding licence from DGAV. The remaining activities (grooming, training, pet-sitting, dog walking, transport, physiotherapy, nutrition, behaviour, farrier) become active as soon as you submit the request.
- 4You fill in the profile and the mode opensBusiness name, activity, address and opening hours. From then on Provider mode appears in the app and you can switch between it and your owner account whenever you like.
Provider mode is never granted at sign-up, nor by a button: it's always the verification that opens it. That's why the verified badge actually means something.
