Price
The app is free: the free account has the essentials, and anything to do with the animal's safety is never paid for. FAUNA Premium is optional and is bought through the app stores: in Portugal, €4.99 a month with 1 month free, or €39.99 a year. No selling of data and no ad networks: the only advertising is our own sponsored slots, always labelled
Adoption
Always free, and not as a marketing promise: the database refuses any price on an animal for adoption

We do not disclose numbers at this stage, and we have none to give. Any number that appears about FAUNA did not come from us
Business model
An optional subscription, FAUNA Premium, and paid featuring of market listings, both bought through the app stores. For businesses there is no monthly fee and no joining fee: today a booking is a request, and the customer pays the business the way they always have. Shelters never pay
Mission
The idea in 3 sentences
The problem: Today people use 6+ apps to look after one dog. A horse breeder uses 10+. A livestock farmer lives in Excel. Nobody brings the animal ecosystem together in one place.
The solution: A universal Animal Profile that works the same for a 5kg Buddy and for dairy cow no. 247 in a herd of 200, only the relevant fields change. Around it, services, commerce, adoption and community.
The ethical rule: Adopting through FAUNA never carries a fee from us. The shelter's adoption fee, if there is one, goes 100% to the shelter. Encoded in the database itself, which refuses any price on an animal for adoption, not in a marketing promise.
